December 20 Holiday Party Meeting

   

33 Members attended our meeting.

Dave shared a picture of the rare  serial number 1 Dollar bill he found in his basement.  Our conversations turned to reality and historic hunting TV shows.

Paulo told us about his reality TV adventure. Rick shared his military history and exciting years around the world. Christmas wishes and imaginary refreshments were shared.

Back to the beginning in the new year.

Holiday cash prizes and gifts were drawn for everyone who attended. All who attended won a door prize . Over 40 prizes were awarded to all attendees.

We then displayed and raffled off the 12 holiday drawing prizes after viewing them all again

December 6 Meeting Notes

23 Members attended our meeting.

Our meeting started with some tales of hunting lakes and ponds. The conversation turned to finding guns and magnet fishing. Scott talked about the treasure hunting related books donated to the club by a local hunters wife. We have a large group that we will be bringing to the future in-person club meeting. Some members made claims on a few.
Dan told us about joining the Mudlarks in London for part of a trip.

We have a good amount of money towards the yearly Holiday party drawing. Reminder ! You only have this to buy your $2 tickets. No tickets can be sold during the meeting, as your name needs to be recorded ahead of time on the ticket. The holiday meeting will be on ZOOM on December 20th and have the “holiday drawing for the 12 items.

November 22 Meeting Notes

26 Members attended our meeting.  Phil 2 times!

Our meeting started with some coyote, snake and bear interaction stories including videos and screen shots members shared. More disaster weekly stories about tough hunting trips including mud tragedies and big disappointments .  Fall hunting is well underway. FB finds were many.

We have a good amount of money towards the yearly Holiday party drawing. Reminder ! You only have weeks to buy your $2 tickets. November 8 Meeting Notes

19 Members attended our meeting.    (And 15 ! cats)

The meeting opened with some hunting reports from everyone out enjoying the great warm fall weather, and comparisons of witnessing the 3.6 earthquake Sunday morning. A few reports were from those who have some recent great locations with permissions. Members told a few finding a “pot stories”, expecting to find a cache of coins.

We made final plans for an outing both Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th to Wollaston Beach between the 2 yacht clubs. There will be a few of us on both days, so plan on joining us.

The low tide is about 5PM. We might be hunting in the dark, so bring a headlamp, and plan to wear boots. Some folks will be at Carson beach Friday the 13th at L Street near the bath house.

We will be ZOOM meeting on December 20th and have the “holiday drawing for the 12 items.

A 1934 Peace dollar (double die) has been added to the Holiday item raffle.   You can still enter by sending money to the treasurer.
